This keychain was crafted by women in UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency)’s MADE51 initiative. These displaced South Sudanese women are rebuilding their lives using their heritage skills. Beading is a traditional craft in South Sudan, where patterns and colors carry cultural meanings.
Brought to you in collaboration with MADE51 to celebrate World Refugee Day, a limited number of keychains are available.
<About MADE51>
MADE51 is a UNHCR initiative which gives refugees the opportunity to use their traditional craftsmanship to earn income, regain independence and contribute to their host communities.
This is the second year in a row that a limited edition UNHCR x UNIQLO collaboration product has been sourced from displaced South Sudanese women through MADE51. Each order placed is an opportunity for these women to earn an income and support their families.
